Welcome to the Mòd nan Eilean Siar 2005 website.
I hope that you will be able to find all the information you require, or at least find somebody to help you, in order to prepare you for another good, welcoming Mod in the Western Isles such as we had in 1979, 1989 and 2001.
As you can see, there will be no shortage of things to do, so you had better start putting your pennies to one side and charging your batteries!
The local committee, with support from Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, local businesses and many others are busy with their preparations to make sure that you all enjoy Mod 2005.
If you have Gaelic, please speak it more and if you don't, why not learn a phrase or two before Mòd nan Eilean Siar in October 2005.
